Come and Take It BBQ is a crowd pleaser, but only on weekends when the namesake flag is flying. Oak-smoked brisket, handmade smoked sausage, spicy beans and pulled pork are the stars of Scott and Jenny Turner’s pit. Reata Restaurant and Century Bar & Grill are the go-to fine-dining spots and consistently deliver feasts fit for a rancher. Locals also flock to Thai Way, Tri La Bite, and the infamous cult-favorite Cow Dog with specialty dogs like the Hangover, the CurryWurst and the Artisan with scratch apple chutney, sharp cheddar and white wine dijon. For approachable, good-eating Italian, head to Guzzi Up with its bright atmosphere and scratch kitchen.
